In Yekaterinburg a healing training and social therapy education has been offered at a local college in collaboration with the East-West Group of SOFIA since the autumn of 2001. The target group consists of highly trained special education teachers, therapists, psychologists, teachers, etc.

The education has since begun new activities for disabled children and adults in the region. Many former students work to integrate the teaching of medicine and social therapy into their workplaces, such as in schools, in therapy activities, children's homes, etc. It has also led to the creation of courses and several conference activities, and a small medicine teaching center in the city of Tomsk.

Since 2007, the education has taken on a social therapeutic direction which is carried out by the social therapeutic institution Blagoje-delo in Werch-Nejwinskij, north of Yekaterinburg.

The training seminar also offers seminar activities for art therapists and specialist teachers in the city of Surgut in Siberia.

For some time they have also done intensive work on a political level to establish the human rights of the disabled people in society according to the UN Convention.
